Director’s Message

Learning, according to me, is a lifelong process that leads to change including the ability and willingness to adapt. It is driven by curiosity and motivation.

With a postgraduate degree in Textile Chemistry and a corporate career spanning over 15 years in Retail, Banking and IPTV, I joined the Kohana Team with a dream of providing equal opportunity to all children. The journey has been tough to say the least but a lot of learning along the way. It has given us the opportunity to interact with families of over 12 nationalities now, staff from all over the world. It is now a fast growing dynamic school community with its first batch gearing up to graduate the Cambridge IGCSE certification in 2025-26.

Entrepreneurship, effective communication, critical evaluation of information and developing strong interpersonal relations are the need of the hour and the school recognizes this.

The school aims to prepare young people to be problem-solvers, willing to dedicate their time, energy, and talent to making the world a better place to live in. We believe the skills that students build in and beyond the classrooms, prompts them to engage with real problems and issues. We wish for our students to engage with the world, to seek understanding of their connections and responsibilities, and to contribute meaningfully to the various communities around them.

We recognize that each member of our student community is an individual , with particular gifts and talents as well as specific challenges and needs. Our teaching and non teaching staff embraces each one of them in their journey to achieve and accomplish their individual goals.

Our efforts to enrich the minds of the learners would be incomplete without the support of the parent community and their rich experiences to create an all round opportunity for our children. This partnership will reflect our attention to the challenges our current generation of learners are facing.
